We’ve all seen films where a dartboard is used as a cathartic mechanism against for releasing anger towards a nemesis. A picture of a foe is positioned over the bull’s-eye, attacking at the target. Although this is used in movies to add a comedic lightness to a scene, this example highlights the amount of focus that is put on the board in a game of darts.

Because dart players spend so much time looking at and analyzing the board, it acts as a perfect medium for ads. Dartboard advertising is a new region of marketing that is an easy and effective way to get your message across. Unlike commercials and online advertisements that can easily be ignored, dart ads demand attention.
